Shipping policy
This Shipping Policy sets out the delivery options, timeframes and conditions that apply to every order placed with Luvdaly. By completing checkout you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted the delivery timeframes described below.
1. Order processing
Orders are processed on business days (Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays). Orders placed before 2:00 PM GMT are prepared for dispatch the same business day; orders placed after that time, or on a weekend or public holiday, are prepared for dispatch on the next business day.
Processing time is separate from delivery time. The delivery timeframes below begin on the day your order is dispatched, not the day it is placed.
2. Delivery options and timeframes
We offer two delivery methods within the United Kingdom. The method selected by the customer at checkout determines the applicable delivery window:
| Method | Destination | Estimated delivery (from dispatch) | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard — Free Shipping | United Kingdom | 5 to 20 business days | Free on all orders |
| Express — Paid Shipping | United Kingdom | 3 to 10 business days | Calculated at checkout |
These are the only two delivery methods offered. Free Shipping is applied to every order at no cost; Express Shipping is an optional paid upgrade selected by the customer at checkout.
3. What "business days" means
A business day is any day from Monday to Friday, excluding UK public and bank holidays. Weekends and public holidays are not counted within the delivery windows above. For example, an order dispatched on a Friday with a maximum window of 20 business days is not due for delivery until 20 working days — approximately four calendar weeks — have passed.
4. Dispatch confirmation and tracking
Every order is dispatched with a tracking number. A dispatch confirmation containing that tracking number is sent by email within 2 business days of the order being placed. It is the customer's responsibility to monitor the tracking information provided and to ensure that someone is available to receive the parcel where a signature is required.
5. Estimated timeframes
All delivery windows are good-faith estimates based on the performance of our carriers. While we meet these windows in the large majority of cases, they are estimates and not guarantees. Delivery may occasionally fall at the later end of the published window, particularly during peak periods, sales events or periods of high carrier demand.
6. Delivery timeframes and non-delivery claims
A parcel is only considered delayed or undelivered once the full maximum delivery window for the selected method has elapsed — that is, 20 business days from dispatch for Free Shipping, or 10 business days from dispatch for Express Shipping.
Any enquiry or claim that an order has not arrived, including any payment dispute or chargeback raised on the basis of non-delivery, is considered premature and unfounded if it is made before the applicable maximum delivery window has fully elapsed and while tracking shows the parcel in transit. We ask all customers, and their card issuers, to allow the complete published delivery window to pass before treating an order as undelivered.
Where a payment dispute is raised before the delivery window has elapsed, we will respond with this policy, the order's dispatch confirmation and the live carrier tracking record, which together evidence that the order was accepted, dispatched and is being delivered within the timeframe accepted by the customer at checkout.
7. Tracking as evidence of delivery
The tracking record provided by the carrier is the authoritative record of an order's delivery status. Where carrier tracking confirms that a parcel has been delivered to the address supplied by the customer, the order is considered fulfilled and delivered.
8. Address accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address at checkout. We are not liable for delays or failed deliveries caused by an incorrect or incomplete address. Where a parcel is returned to us due to an address error, we will contact the customer to arrange redelivery; a redelivery fee may apply.
9. Failed delivery and unclaimed parcels
If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful, the carrier will follow its standard process, which may include leaving the parcel with a neighbour, at a safe place or at a local collection point, and leaving a card for the recipient. Parcels that remain unclaimed and are returned to us can be redelivered at the customer's request; a redelivery fee may apply.
10. Delays outside our control
We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to carrier backlogs, adverse weather, industrial action, customs processing and public-holiday periods. Such delays extend the estimated delivery window accordingly.
11. Lost parcels
If the full maximum delivery window has elapsed and carrier tracking shows no confirmed delivery, please contact us at care@luvdaly.com with your order number so that we can open an investigation with the carrier. Where a parcel is confirmed lost in transit, we will replace the order or issue a full refund. This remedy applies only after the published delivery window has passed.
12. Acceptance of these timeframes
By completing checkout and placing an order, the customer acknowledges and accepts the delivery methods, timeframes and conditions set out in this policy, including the delivery windows of up to 20 business days for Free Shipping and up to 10 business days for Express Shipping from the date of dispatch.
13. Contact
